This is the largest Flower in the world, found in rain forest in Borneo Islands. Its average size is 60-100 cm in diameter. I was lucky enough to find one while trekking in Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia

Flower and buds:A fresh Rafflesia kerrii with remnants of the buds.


Rafflesia kerrii:View of the inside of the flower. Stench was like rotten fish.


Rafflesia kerrii:This was the first flowering specimen we found. Not too big, nestled in the rocks.
